The Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce will once again host its annual Fine art show on the Town Green. Artists from all over New England and beyond will come together in this well visited exhibition. When you arrive at my booth, mention this announcement and you will receive  10% off on any purchase.

The 2nd annual Arts on the Green is hosted by the Center for the Arts in New London, NH.  The two day event runs from 10 am to 4 pm both days.  Artists and artisans from all over the region will display their works for sale at off-gallery prices.  Doorprizes and music will be provided.  Mention this announcement and you will receive10% off on your purchase.

The Yankee Homecoming group sponsors this very nice fine art show yearly at the Bartlett Mall (Park).   Artists from just about everywhere exhibit their works at the outdoor event.  Families often arrive on sunday to see the art and then let the kids partake in the pony and boat rides.  Music, food and fun!

Please save Saturday August 10th for your visit to South Portland's 34th annual  Art in the Park.  The event is held every year at Mill Creek Park.  Many artists from all over New England will display and variety of works.  This is primarily a rain or shine event.  In the event of heavy rain, the show will run on Sunday August 11th.  If bad weather is predicted for the 11th, the show will be cancelled until next year.  Check the Art in the Park website http://www.artintheparkmaine.com     to learn more.

The 40th annual Sidewalk Art Show and Sale will be held on Thursday August 22, 2013 in Ogunquit, Maine.  Tourists,seasonal, and year-long residents alike flock to this one day event each year.  The widely popular art show held each August on the sidewalk near the town square and  the parking lot draws art lovers from all over New England and beyond to this pleasant seaside town.  Enjoy great art works and superb seafood.

Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day weekend rain or shine.  Exhibit times are 10 am to 5 pm.  Many professional artists from New Hampshire and beyond will display their works.  If you love fine art, this is the place to see it in New Hampshire's beautiful Monadnock region. After the show enjoy fine dining at any of the area's superb restaurants.  A nice way to end the day.

The Andover Artists guild will once again host this wonderful Art in the Park, held at the Town Green.  Many top notch New England artists participate in this show each year.  Food is available at the bandstand. Wonderful fun for all!

The annual Newfane Heritage Arts and Crafts Fair, sponsored by the Newfane Congregational Church, is held on the town green on Columbus Weekend, rain or shine.  A variety of wonderful fine art and crafts draws one and all from leaf-peepers of brilliant foliage, to those wanting to experience the charm of this quaint New England village.  Stop by my tent; I'm easy to find-right in front of the Congregational Church.  And while you're there, get some of their homemade apple crisp-Yum!

My autumn Open Studio runs in conjunction with NH OPEN DOORS weekend.  Art-lovers from everywhere in New England (and sometimes further!) make a weekend pilgrimage to visit local artists and artisans.  I sincerely hope you will stop by my Art by the Brook Studio to enjoy my paintings, prints and greeting cards, sample a glass of wine and some munchies. For directions to the studio: Take route 89 N from Concord, NH, then exit 5 towards Hopkinton.  On route 202/ 9 go past Hopkinton and Henniker exits then travel to the SECOND exit for Hillsborough (the sign will show Peterborough, but there is no number on this exit).  At the bottom of the ramp turn right and travel a short distance to Beard Rd., just past the SAMPAN Restaurant. Turn right on Beard Rd. and drive 3.6 miles.  My studio is #738 on the right-you'll see plenty of signs along the way, but if you get lost just call and I'll guide you.
